➢ No Need to Purchase Lots of Other Chemicals

➢ Doesn’t Burn Your Eyes or Smell like Chlorine

➢ Doesn’t Bleach Your Hair & Swimsuit like Chlorine

➢ EZ to Use

Advantages Over Chlorine:

  1. Less Expensive- EZ pool is less expensive than using tri-chlor chlorine tabs to sanitize your pool, and much less expensive than Baquacil.
  2. No More Testing Weekly- You apply the powder once weekly and it lasts all week. There is no need to test constantly like you do with chlorine. Broadcast 1-7 scoops a week depending on pool size, rather than constantly monitoring and adjusting with tablets.
  3. Easy to Try- You can switch off and on to chlorine or Chlor-Free EZ Pool with no extra chemicals or products to add, so you could try a bucket for a month and then change back to chlorine if are not happy with it.
  4. Don’t have to purchase a lot of different chemicals- Chlor-Free EZ Pool is an all-in-one product and contains algaecide, water softeners, clarifiers, PH balancers and flocculants so you will not have to purchase those products again.
  5. Easy on Your Skin-The Chlor-Free EZ Pool will not burn your eyes, bleach your hair or bathing suit like chlorine can. Also, with the added softeners Chlor-Free EZ Pool contains, you’ll find it doesn’t dry out your skin like chlorine can. It smells and feels just like bathing in bottled water!
  6. Easy on Your Liner- Since it’s a chlorine free product, it does not bleach your liner or dry out the vinyl!
  7. EZ Pool is More Forgiving If You Forget- If you are late in adding your weekly dose. Usually, you can just shock it and add Chlor-Free EZ Pool the next day. Leaving for a week on vacay? Double your EZ Pool dose and go!

Switching to EZ Pool If your pool is a chlorinated pool: (get pool clear first then switch)

First double your weekly dose of EZ Pool to start up. Bring in a water sample so we can test for calcium level. You may need to add some calcium for EZ Pool to work optimally. It works best at 250ppm plus. Calcium usually does not leave the water except for when back washing, and splash out, so this is an annual cost ususally.

You will need to add a weekly dose of EZ Pool based on the number of gallons your pool contains. 24’ round above-ground pool takes 2 1/2 scoops weekly, so a 20 lb. bucket will give you 16 weeks (4 months). If you have a 16x32 inground diving pool you will need 3 scoops a week, so a 20lb and a 5 lb bucket will last you 16 weeks/4 months.

It is also important to put one 3” chlorine puck in the skimmer weekly to clean your filter. The chlorine puck WILL NOT make your pool a chlorinated pool nor will it even raise the chlorine to a measurable level. It dissolves and cleans the filter because the tabs are acidic and it keeps clear slime from building up. This is one of the most critical steps, as EZ Pool requires a very clean filter to work properly. You can also use a filter cleaner monthly if you prefer.

Periodically, the pool will need to be shocked. We recommend you shock weekly or as needed, that is; anytime the wall is slippery, the water has a slight cloud, after a storm, or after a heavy bather load. This only makes your pool chlorinated for 4-6 hours which is all the longer shock lasts. Shock at night and you’ll never notice it was chlorinated!

After a heavy rain, it is also a good idea to test and adjust your ph because the acid rain always lowers it. EZ Pool has ph balancers already in it, so you will not have to adjust your ph as often as if you are on chlorine, but it is still important to test for the proper level from time to time.
